Veselin Dzivev is a principal assistant, PhD in "Informatics and IT Education Pedagogy" in the department of "Mathematics and Informatics Education" at the Faculty of mathematics and informatics at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in the city of Sofia. His research interests are in the fields of computer science, informatics, databases, and student education in these fields.

Dimitar Ginchev is Assistant Professor, PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation at the Department of Air Transport at the Transport Faculty at the Technical University of Sofia. His scientific interests are in the field of: Aircraft Control Systems, avionics, el., electronic and radio-electronic equipment and systems of aircraft, UAV and systems, simulators, etc.

Modern warfare is inextricably linked to the use of UAVs. They possess some weak points that make them vulnerable to the influence of the adversary. The paper proposes a concept for an AI-controlled UAV system that overcomes the shortcomings of autonomous UAVs while not significantly increasing the cost of an individual UAV. The UAV system also implements many additional functionalities.
