Teodora Licheva is a PhD in National Security, a part-time teacher at the New Bulgarian University and Academy of National and Information Security. She specialized in cybersecurity in Beijing and Shenzhen, China. Her scientific interests are related to blockchain technology, information security, the application of new technologies in public administration, smart contracts, strategic management, risk register methodology and internal rules, modernization of the administration and increasing its capacity.

Резюме

In this report, I analyze the opportunities, challenges, and strategic frameworks for implementing the zero-trust model in security services globally, focusing on leading practices from the US, UK, and Australia, to predict and implement these models in the specific context of Bulgaria. I place particular emphasis on the management processes, organizational culture, and technological prerequisites that accompany this fundamental change in cyber defense.
